80g fresh (or thawed) mango
½ medium banana
250ml unsweetened almond milk
40g spinach (a big handful!)
1/4 of an avocado
1tbs flaxseed meal
1tbs chia seeds
1tbs oats

Method

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth and creamy. Sweeten with a little maple syrup or honey if desired. *You can swap out the banana or mango and double the amount of fruit you love.

Makes 1 serve.

*RDI based on 18-30 year old Australian pregnant woman.

Tip for busy new mums:

To meal prep this smoothie, you can measure / chop all ingredients except your milk and freeze them in a container / your blender jug (if you have a massive freezer!). When you are ready for the smoothie, remove from freezer, add your milk and blend (might be a good idea to blend before putting baby down for a nap!).
