About Us

Proof. Not Promises.

Setting the standard for food quality.

Our story

Nutrient-dense food has always had value — it’s just been invisible.

For generations, producers have known the quality of their harvests through soil, practice, and experience. Yet there has been no consistent way to prove that quality beyond claims, labels, or broad, inputs-based certifications. At the same time, consumers and buyers have been left to trust language rather than evidence when choosing food.

Proof. Not Promises. exists to change that.

What we do

Proof. Not Promises. is a certification framework that sets nutrient density as the benchmark for food quality.

We operate at the intersection of science and sustenance, translating growers’ expertise into verifiable proof. Through independent testing and disciplined interpretation, we turn invisible value into evidence — enabling producers to demonstrate quality with confidence and providing buyers with a clear, measurable standard.

In practice, this means measuring two essential dimensions of food quality:
the nutrients themselves, and the integrity factors that influence how those nutrients are received.

Alongside nutrient analysis, we assess selected contaminants and residues — such as heavy metals, pesticide residues, and mycotoxins — where relevant. These measures do not replace nutrient density as the benchmark; they protect it, recognising that food quality depends not only on what is present, but on what may impair the body’s ability to utilise it.

This is not about trends, marketing claims, or assumptions.
It is about evidence.

Why nutrient density

Nutrient density reflects how food is grown, handled, and preserved — and ultimately how well it can nourish.

While many certifications focus on process, origin, or absence, nutrient density speaks directly to food quality itself. By centring nutrient density as the primary benchmark, Proof. Not Promises. addresses what has long been missing from food standards: a measurable way to recognise exceptional growing practices.

Our approach

Proof. Not Promises. is:

  • Integrity-led — evidence comes before narrative

  • Grounded in growers’ stories — without relying on self-assertion

  • Disciplined and practical — rigorous without unnecessary burden

  • Transparent by design — clear standards, clear interpretation

We make complexity accessible without diluting meaning, and we resist the temptation to overclaim. Trust is built through proof, not promises.

Who we serve

Proof. Not Promises. serves producers who already know the quality of their work and want independent verification to stand behind it.

This includes both career farmers and part-time producers — different in scale, but aligned in their need for credible, verifiable data that differentiates quality in the marketplace.

The bigger picture

Our vision is simple: to make nutrient density the standard in agriculture.

We are building a movement that champions producers, rebuilds trust in the food system, and brings flavour back to the table — not through claims, but through evidence.

Eat for You

Proof. Not Promises. is a certification framework operated by Eat for You.

Eat for You began as a response to a gap in the Australian food system. When we launched Australia’s first nutrient- and contaminant-tested snack bars, we encountered a fundamental problem: while food quality was frequently claimed, it was rarely verified. Nutrient data was outdated or assumed, contaminant testing was fragmented, and producers and consumers alike were asked to trust systems that could not show their workings.

That experience revealed something bigger than a single product.

To become what the food system needed — a credible, independent standard — Eat for You evolved beyond product development. Proof. Not Promises. was created to do what we could not find elsewhere: set a measurable baseline for food quality, grounded in nutrient density and protected by integrity markers that affect how nutrients are received.

This pivot was not away from food, but deeper into it.

Proof. Not Promises. is the result of lived experience at the intersection of food production, science, and market reality — built to champion producers, restore trust, and establish the standard we needed when we first set out.
