The Summer Lovin’ bites are Organic, Gluten Free, Plant-based, Non-GMO, Preservative Free and Home Compostable wrapped.

How long do Eat for You products keep for?
We have a Best Before period of 12 months for all of our bars and bites from the date of manufacture. They usually get eaten well before then though ;)
You’ll find the best before date of your bar stamped on the underside of the flap on the back of the certified home compostable packet.
Store away from heat sources. In warmer climates, bars can be stored in a fridge.
Are your bars gluten free?
They are! Lab tested and confirmed for every single batch. Our entire kitchen is a gluten free zone.
What other dietaries do you cover?
Our bars and bites are FREE FROM wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts and cane sugar. They are non GMO, preservative free and vegan friendly.
Not keen on nuts? Our 'Little Hero' bar has a nut free recipe. However, it is manufactured in a facility that uses nuts so there's always the very small chance it could contain nut traces.
Can I eat your products while pregnant?
You certainly can! Every batch of Eat for You product is sent off for independent testing for safety and nutrient content. We don’t start selling a batch until the results are received and pass our stringent standards.
Even though it is not a requirement for our type of food, we still test every batch for salmonella, listeria and E. Coli so that you have peace of mind that our food is safe for you to consume during pregnancy.
Our Lemme Feel Well bar is formulated to ease the symptoms of nausea including that associated with pregnancy (it’s also been useful for people experiencing motion sickness, and nausea associated with chemotherapy treatment).
We’ve included a whopping 900mg of organic powdered dry ginger in every 50g lemme bar.
When eating lemme in pregnancy, recommendations suggest eating less than 1g of ginger / day. This is the equivalent of ~1 Lemme Feel Well bar or 3-4 of our Lemme 16g bites.
As with everything pregnancy related, if you have a concern, check with your health care professional.

What should I do with my wrapper?
Our wrappers, and the bags our bites come in, are all certified home compostable. This even includes the ink used to print on the packaging! Bury your wrapper in your home compost, garden, or worm farm and it will be gone within 26 weeks (chop / tear it up into smaller pieces and it’ll be gone even quicker) - leaving you with a compost full of happy earthworms.
